Initially beginning as a part-time voluntary
position working in the museum gallery, my hours and duties were extended as
part of the Community Work Placements program. These duties included customer
service, cash handling, stock management, merchandising, display and exhibition
information, administration, data entry, security, health and safety, as well
as occasional key holding responsibilities.
Sales Assistant. RSPCA Charity
Shop, Cromer, Norfolk - 2010.
A work placement as part of the Flexible New
Deal program organised by Action 4 Employment with numerous responsibilities,
including stock control, cash handling and customer service.
Operations Assistant. Boots,
Castle Mall, Norwich, Norfolk - 2007.
Temporary contract working over the busy
Christmas period, helping to maximise sales and assisting in various capacities
including merchandising and customer service.
Retail Supervisor. McColls Newsagents. Cromer, Norfolk
- 2006-2007.
Jointly responsible for the day-to-day running
of a small newsagents with responsibilities including staff management, stock
control, cash handling and merchandising.
Steward. Norwich City Football Club, Norwich, Norfolk - 2006.
Member of the security team on match days,
observing various health and safety codes while assisting in the overall
security operation.

Retail Sales Assistant. Overstrand Cottage Garden,
Overstrand, Norfolk, 1995-2002.
Working initially as part of the Target Retail
Training Program I was given a full-time position upon
completion of my training. My duties included
customer service, merchandising, stock control, cash
handling, staff management and retail
security.
Previous Employment. 1988-1995
Upon leaving school I worked in a number of
positions in the local hospitality industry, as well as a process worker and
deputy quality control officer for a local seafood production company.
